1. All printing will commence after verbal or written approval of a final sample. Once confirmed, orders cannot be cancelled and any late cancellations or deletions will be charged at the full price.
2. All orders are to be paid for upon collection or upon receipt if posting. All goods will remain the property of Caroline’s Cards until paid in full.
3. Lead times—samples will usually be printed and despatched within 10 working days and upon confirmation of proofs, the order will be ready for despatch within 10 working days. These times may vary and you will be notified at the time of enquiry if applicable.
4. Postage— all postage costs incurred for delivery, sending samples and return of artwork, will be added to the invoice at the current rates charged by the Post Office. First class is used at all times unless requested otherwise or the weight is prohibitive. All artwork will be returned in the same manner in which it was sent to us. If insurance is required it must be stated at the time, if uninsured Caroline'sCards cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items in the post.
5. Artwork—all artwork is retained on the computer or on CD ROM and stored with Caroline’s Cards until such time that you request otherwise.

7. All samples, will be charged for at the full price. Caroline’s Cards retains the right to use any incorrect samples or overruns as “sample” or “seconds” cards in sample packs sent out to prospective clients and they will be clearly marked as such. Alternatively we may sell them as "seconds" cards, the proceeds are donated to our nominated charity. Currently the sale of "seconds" cards enables us to provide condolece cards to The Joseph Weld Trimar Hospice free of charge .
8. Administration costs– a one off fee of £1.50 will be charged for any
artwork up to A3size. ( 29cm (12”) x 45cm (18”).
Scanned artwork larger than A3 i.e. larger than29cm (12”) x 45cm (18”)will incur a higher charge of £3.00 per image.
Images larger than A3and up to A2 (18” x 24”) and under glass can still be scanned for the same fee.
Images larger than A2 will be quoted accordingly at the time depending on the size and complexity of the image. The charge to be applied will be confirmed to you before work commences. A2+ size work that is not under glass, can be digitally photographed at our discretion. Separate charges apply to this service and will be agreed before work commences.
9. Colourfast qualities— whilst every manufacturer claims their inks, paper and technology are colourfast for periods up to 80 or 100+ years, no one can guarantee exactly how long , because the technology hasn’t been around for that long! So all colourfast comments and claims are based on the manufacturer’s accelerated light tests and their recommendations for correct storage under glass and out of direct sunlight. Based on these facts, our fine art prints should be colourfast for a period
of up to 80 years.
